Application Form

Before starting your application please consider the following:
- You must have a very good academic record – 340 UCAS points and a predicted 2.1 or above/equivalent (we do look at every application and consider any extenuating circumstances).
- The graduate positions you are applying for are at Analyst level. This is the base starting level at Accenture. All applicants are welcome to apply via this route. However, if you are interested in higher level positions, you can apply via the Experienced Hire website.
- You may only apply for one role at one time. If you are re-applying, please ensure that at least one year has passed since the date of the rejection of your previous application (including one made to a different location). If you apply for more than one role we will only screen your first application. If you are unsure about which role to apply for, please visit our website.
When starting to compete your application form please note the following advice:
- After registering a few personal details, the process will start with a situational judgement test. This will take approximately 20 minutes and we recommend that you give yourself enough time to finish the test so that you don't need to leave it part way through.
- Once you have completed the situational judgement test, you will be able to move onto the application form. Please note that once you have started your application for a role, you will need to complete your application within 28 days. After 28 days have elapsed your form will be withdrawn from the application process unless we hear from you.
- To save your application and return to it at another time please ensure that you have completed the page you are working on. Only when you have completed the current page can you save your application and return to it later (remember that this must be within 28 days). In order to do this, you will need your login user name and password.
- You must fill in all sections marked with an asterisk (*) before you can proceed to the next page. These are mandatory fields. You will receive a warning message at the top of your screen if you have not completed a mandatory section. If you do not wish to complete a text box, please enter “not applicable”. This will enable you to progress to the next page.
- The capacity limit for all text box sections on the application form is approximately 140 words and a maximum of 900 characters, including spaces. When cutting & pasting from other documents, please note that bullet points or other formatting take up extra space and may cause you to exceed the limit. Our system is not always properly alerting candidates when they exceed the limit, so if you experience any problems, please check your formatting and character count.
- Please enter your most recent and relevant work experience in the Work Experience section on Page 2. You must complete the text box that asks for details of your roles and responsibilities, but do not feel obliged to fill in the other non-mandatory sections (for example, final monthly income, reason for leaving, supervisor etc.) unless you feel that they add to your application. We look at all aspects of the application when we are screening, so don’t worry if you have not obtained work experience or relevant work experience.
- The Education section on Page 2 asks for the 'Grade' and 'Out of'. Please list your average grade to date – this will be a percentage, grade average or predicted final score, depending on the scoring at your higher education institute. You must enter this in numerical format. You will be asked to provide further details about your degree and grades later on in Page 4, so do not worry if you feel you have not been able fully to express your education details at this stage. However, please do ensure to give the exact details of your degree and UCAS points to date.
- In the Career Objectives and Supplementary Comments section on Page 2 please enter a brief summary of why you would like to work within the Analyst Consulting Group. The Supplementary Comments box is optional. If you have nothing to add, please enter “not applicable” in order to move on. You will be asked about hobbies, activities and skills, and further career-focused questions on Page 4.
- In the Career Focus section on Page 4 the questions are designed to probe your knowledge about Accenture and what you would be doing if you were to join. This is your opportunity to demonstrate the research you have done and to prove your understanding of Accenture, our marketplace and the role of Analyst. Avoid regurgitating text from the website. We want to know that you truly understand the role that you are applying for. We recommend that you write your answers in a word document first, so that you can check the word and character count and spelling before you submit your application. The next and final page of the application form is where you attach your CV and submit your application. Please ensure that you have checked and proof-read all of your answers before you attach your CV and press “Save and Continue” on the next page, as it will submit your application.
- Please advise us of any special requirements you may have in the Reasonable Adjustments section on the pre-screening questions, in order that we can provide assistance if required. Please also be sure to let us know your Visa/Work Permit status.
- You can attach word documents to your application on Page 6, this includes documents such as your CV so make sure you attach it at this stage. If there are extenuating circumstances that you have not already highlighted, that may affect your application, please attach a separate explanatory word document at this stage. Please note that if you press ”Save and Continue” on this page you will be submitting your application.
- Once your application has been submitted it will be screened within 3 working days and you will be notified of the result by email. After your application has been submitted, please do not amend any details as these will not be tracked by us.
- If you encounter any technical difficulties along the way please use the Help function at the top right of each page. This also contains a link for direct contact if the sections do not contain the answer to your question. If you are still experiencing difficulties after this please send us an email or call our graduate helpline on 0500 100189.
