Starting At Accenture
New joiner induction
Once you've accepted a place with us we will give you access to our Waiting Room website. This is designed to help you transition smoothly and easily into the company. It provides you with a central source of information with everything you need to know as a new joiner, including contacts for help and advice, a guide to our technologies, a 'Who's Who' guide and the absolutely essential Jargon Buster.
The orientation and integration process is designed to help you network and form alliances with your future colleagues. In fact, almost everyone says that the initial new joiner orientation was just as much about networking and making friends as it was about pure learning.
Start group
Once you join, the orientation process kicks in straightaway. It’s designed to help you meet your future colleagues and tell you about day-to-day issues – such as processes, tools and IT packages. Our Global New Joiners’ website will help you with all this and more.
When you join the Analyst Consulting Group you’ll be part of a start group. You'll join at the same time as between 40 to 80 other people and you’ll go through the initial training and induction together. The induction has been developed to help you settle into Accenture, find out how everything works and meet people in the same position as you so you can start building your network.
