Industrial Placements

Whether you chose our 6-month or 12-month placement, you’ll enjoy a week in London taking part in a thorough induction. Here, you’ll learn all about Accenture and build your business and technical skills. You will also be assigned a ‘buddy’ – a member of the project team you will be joining – who will provide expert advice whenever you need it.

Then you’ll learn about the project you’ve been assigned to, which could be in any part of our consulting workforce. As a genuine member of the team you’ll take on real responsibility for anything from testing software or undertaking research to compiling reports or analysing complex information.

The placement takes place in London and you will receive a salary of £20,000 pro rata. Please note that you will need to find, and fund, your own accommodation - although, we will provide a £500 relocation allowance, and if we send you on a project based elsewhere, we will do this on your behalf.

As well as an opportunity to join us in the Analyst Consulting Group if you perform well, you'll acquire an entire new set of skills and a completely fresh perspective when you go back in to your final year.

Do I qualify?

You are a second-year undergraduate (12-month scheme) or a third-year undergraduate on a four-year course (6-month scheme) studying for a technical or business-related degree; these schemes are designed for undergraduates who have an industrial placement as part of their course. You have also gained 340 UCAS points at A-level and expect to obtain at least a 2:1 degree or equivalent qualification.
