The Navigator
The Navigator scheme is the perfect way for graduates and post-graduates to gain real-life experience of the world of consultancy and make an informed choice about whether it’s the right career choice.
What can I expect?
You’ll start in September, and the induction training you receive in your first week will provide you with grounding in our business and the core skills you need to succeed here.
During your induction, you will also receive technical training before you learn about the project you’ll be involved in. The project could be in any industry area within the consulting workforce, anywhere in the UK. Expect to become a fully signed-up member of the team – and take on real responsibility for software testing, research, report writing, data analysis or even designing client websites.
We’ll expect you to learn a lot in a short space of time. But to help, we’ll allocate you a ‘buddy’ who’ll act as a valuable source of advice and guidance. And you’ll receive regular feedback on your performance from your supervisor.
What will I get in return?
As well as helping us do what we do best: creating high-performance businesses, which means you’ll be working on real projects, for real clients and with real responsibility, you'll receive a salary of £20,000 pro-rata. Rest assured that there are plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and to challenge your thinking. But it’s up to you to make the most of them.
Do I qualify?
You will have 340 UCAS points at A-level with a predicted or actual 2:1 degree or equivalent in any discipline. You are in your final year at university, or you have recently graduated.
IT knowledge isn’t essential, but you are interested in learning about technology. You'll need to organise your own accommodation in London, towards which we'll give you £500. However, because your project could take you anywhere in the consulting workforce, we'll cover your additional accommodation costs if you're posted elsewhere.
