High Performance at Accenture: The Key to What We Do
Working for Accenture means understanding what high performance is-and successfully meeting the challenge of helping clients to achieve it.
The concept of high performance lies at the core of Accenture’s identity and what it promises to deliver to its clients. Our starting point is recognizing that there are certain companies that deliver stellar results over a sustained period of time, regardless of the state of the economy in which they happen to be operating or their leadership. Accenture calls this ability to perform well over time, independent of economic cycles, high performance.
We believe it is possible to study such companies and uncover the fundamental strategies that underpin sustained performance-that was the birth of the Accenture High Performance Business research project. This continuing research has validated our initial thesis, and is helping identify the building blocks (think of them as the DNA of high performance) that are common to all high performers. It is also showing us that high performers constantly adjust these building blocks in response to changing business circumstances-continually adjusting their performance anatomy.
Achieving high performance is not a single achievement: it is a journey. Accenture employees have the challenge of helping our clients not only understand what high performance in their sector means, but also how to achieve it.
