Skills to Succeed as a way to align our corporate citizenship activities strategically around a central focus: building skills that enable people to make a sustainable difference to their economic vitality, and to the economic vitality of their families and communities around the world. As part of our focus on Skills to Succeed, we set a challenging goal for Accenture – to equip 250,000 people around the world with the skills to get a job or build a business by 2015.

At Accenture we believe we have a responsibility to understand and address our own environmental impacts and offer support to our clients and suppliers in addressing theirs. What is more, we welcome the inspired volunteer efforts of Accenture professionals in helping us meet our goals.

Our actions range from water-heating systems powered by the sun to collaboration tools that reduce energy-intensive commuting options. As an employee you could become involved with one of our grassroots employee eco teams that are helping implementing more eco-efficient office practices, or help our clients integrate sustainable solutions into their business.

Our People Give Back


Around the world, Accenture people are using their energy, enthusiasm and skills to make a positive impact in and beyond their immediate communities. Here in the United States for example, our people are working with nonprofits like Genesys Works and NPower to provide IT training that will prepare disadvantaged youth for employment.
