Corporate Citizenship

Accenture Corporate Citizenship
Accenture is teaming with Conexão, a Youth Business International network member, to help underprivileged youth receive professional training and job search support in Brazil.

Accenture’s Corporate Citizenship commitments are anchored in our core values, our Code of Business Ethics and, ultimately, reflected in the actions of our people. From Skills to Succeed to the environment, Accenture and our people work to make a sustainable, measurable difference to the communities in which we work and live.

Read our 2012–2013 Corporate Citizenship Report, "Our Communities, Our Commitments,” which explores Accenture’s global corporate citizenship goals, progress and challenges.

Skills to Succeed

Accenture's corporate citizenship initiative, Skills to Succeed, helps address the global need for skills that open doors to employment and economic opportunity. It does this by drawing on two of Accenture’s unique capabilities: training talent and convening powerful partnerships to develop collaborative solutions.

Together with our strategic partners, we have equipped more than half a million people with the skills to get a job or build a business—more than doubling the impact we set out to achieve when we announced our Skills to Succeed goal in 2010.  Against this backdrop, we are increasing our target: by 2015 we will equip 700,000 people worldwide with workplace and entrepreneurial skills.

Skills to Succeed inspire our people, and their passion, experience and commitment to developing and nurturing talent fuel our initiatives.  We offer our people volunteering and pro bono consulting opportunities and expand our impact by replicating and scaling successful programs.  Additionally, Skills to Succeed engages and inspires our clients, recruits, strategic partners and the people whose lives we change. Together we have the opportunity to create measurable impact that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Learn more about our commitment to Skills to Succeed and how we are driving measurable impact through our long-term relationships with strategic partners.

Environmentally sustainable growth has become central to all high-performance businesses. At Accenture, our efforts to ensure sustainable growth span our entire operations, from how we run our business to the services we provide our clients to how we engage with our employees and suppliers.

Fostering environmentally sustainable growth for our company and our stakeholders is at the heart of our environmental strategy, which comprises four areas: running efficient operations, working sustainably, enabling client sustainability and providing insights to advance sustainability.

Our people enthusiastically create and adopt innovative approaches to eco-smart work practices, notably in our global Eco Challenge competitions, which encourage embedding eco-smart work practices into Accenture projects.

Are You a Green Superhero?   Take the Accenture Eco Challenge and test your eco-smarts!
