Summer Internship 2012
If you are a Bachelor or Master student interested in a consulting career, Accenture's Summer Internship program is a great opportunity. You will embark on a real client project based somewhere in our business and learn about helping clients become high performance businesses.
|
 |
Accenture's Summer Internship lasts for six to ten weeks during the summer. We begin the program with an introduction to Accenture and the way we run our business. You will then enroll directly on a client project. The start date of your internship will vary depending on the project you are assigned to. You will be a fully-fledged member of the Accenture team right from the start, with responsibilities that could involve conducting research, testing software, writing reports or analyzing data. We will assign you a "buddy" who is an Accenture employee who will be there to offer help and advice whenever you need it. We will also arrange social activities where you get the chance to network with your fellow Internship participants along with regular Accenture consultants. During your internship, you will be paid a competitive salary.
Could you qualify?
First of all, you should be a second year Bachelor or third or fourth year Master student with strong academic results. We are mainly looking for students within IT, business or engineering programs. The candidates we are looking for are analytical, team-oriented and have an outgoing personality. You also need to be fluent in Swedish.
What did previous participants think of the program?
I had been thinking about working as a management consultant after my graduation and wanted to know more about what it’s like. Accenture’s internship was a great way of learning about the consulting profession while getting to know Accenture as a company.
Sofie, Summer Intern 2011
Getting the chance to do the same work as a newly employed consultant has provided me with new and invaluable knowledge.
Jimmy, Summer Intern 2011
I had a great time at my project. I learned very much from my colleagues, both through watching them work and getting personal help and advice. I was given a lot of responsibility which was challenging, stimulating and helped me develop.
Johanna, Summer Intern 2011
One thing that impressed me was the fact that Accenture is a young and fun place to work, where many colleagues socialize even after working hours. My project was very international and included colleagues from both the US and Asia. I also had a lot of fun with the other Summer Interns during the activities that Accenture arranged for us.
Karl, Summer Intern 2011
Both the colleagues and the environment felt welcoming and positive, there was always a will to give as well as receive advice about different topics. Together with the high competence level this created a very good work environment.
Niklas, Summer Intern 2011
