What I Do

---

I am a manager within Accenture Management Consulting, working within our practice called Talent & Organizational Performance. I support clients to navigate through change and to bring the most out of people. When clients take on a major change initiative, I help project leaders and managers to set up change strategies to minimize efficiency losses and maximize performance of the organization during and after change. It’s about enabling people to implement and realize the value of change.

Also, within Accenture, one of my focus areas is Diversity and I am proud to say that Accenture is dedicated to make us an even more inclusive and diverse company. For example, all employees in managerial positions or with responsibility for staff have attended training in Gender Diversity Management

Day In My Life

---

I arrive at the client’s office around 8-9 in the morning, and my day is usually filled with meetings with project leaders, business experts, managers and other change leaders. In these meetings, we make strategies for change, analyze the impact it will have on the organization, plan for change activities etc. At times I also support the client with the execution of change activities, e.g. prepare and hold information meetings, training sessions and workshops for their managers and employees. As part of program management team, I also monitor program status and progress.

An important part of Accenture is learning and development. To keep myself updated on the latest and greatest within my field, I sometimes participate in global meetings regarding new cool tools, best practices, or other subjects related to my work area. I also provide coaching and support to junior colleagues, as well as exchange knowledge with colleagues when needed.

Outside the Office

---

I love to dance! This spring I took lessons in show dance which was great fun. I also love to travel. I go on weekend trips, now and then, and two years ago I had a 3 month vacation from Accenture to travel around the world. Consulting is a perfect business if you have the urge to travel once in a while… When not on vacation, I enjoy every-day life at home. I hang out with friends, take long walks, work out, and try out my artistic skills through photography.

My Advice

Let other people know your career goals. When people know what you want and what you are passionate about, it is more likely you will get it.

I would also like to give some good old advice. They might be clichés, but they are still really good:



	-	Be yourself
	-	Have fun at work
	-	There are no stupid questions
