A day in my Life at Accenture involves significant interaction with clients to understand their business requirements. My client levels range from middle management to the C-Suite executives. I also have significant interaction with my Accenture team, providing leadership, coaching and staying on top of status in their respective areas. I may also be involved in internal calls and making presentations.

Non – profit and community involvement: I sit on the boards of a couple of non-profit organizations and I am a member of the National Advisory Board for the National Society of Black Engineers. I also serve as a member of the Alumni Engineering Council for the College of Engineering at my alma mater. I also teach Sunday school at my church and mentor high school & college students. Besides that, I am an AVID college football fan and enjoy yoga, shopping, working out and trying out new spas.

For me, taking an active role in local affinity groups, talking on leadership within my deployed to entity, and recruiting have been instrumental in my ability to heighten the awareness of others about diversity. This has enabled me to be a part of the solution and serve as a mouthpiece for others in this area.
