Accenture American Indian Scholarship Fund
Since 2004, Accenture has provided more than $500,000 in scholarship funding for American Indian students as they pursue academic goals beyond high school. The scholarships are awarded to high-achieving American Indians and Alaska Natives seeking degrees and careers in technology or business -related fields. Accenture values the rich culture of Indian Country and supports the development of future American Indian and Alaska Native leaders.

Awards
The Accenture American Indian College Fund awards multiple scholarships to undergraduate students, meeting a vital need for American Indians seeking higher education. Selecting the very brightest American Indian and Alaska Native students who are attaining engineering, technology or business degree, this year we will reward:

Accenture Scholars: Four undergraduate scholarships, of $10,000 each ($2,500 per year for four years), will be awarded to students pursuing a four-year degree.

In addition to the scholarship funds, scholarship recipients in their junior year may be eligible for summer internships with Accenture.
Eligibility
Candidates must have excelled academically and demonstrated leadership ability and commitment to their ancestral and local community and:

Be an enrolled member of a US federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group and provide a Certificate of Indian Blood.

Be seeking a degree and career in fields of study including engineering, computer science, operations management, management, finance, marketing and other business oriented fields.
|

• |
Be entering a US accredited college or university as a full-time, first-year or second-year student.
|
|
• |
Have attained a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or greater, on a 4.0 scale at the end of the seventh semester of high school (undergraduates).

• |
Have attained a cumulative college grade point average of 3.25 or greater, on a 4.0 scale to retain the scholarship
|
|
• |
Demonstrate character, personal merit and commitment to the American Indian Community locally and/or nationally. Merit is demonstrated through leadership in school, civic and extracurricular activities, academic achievement, and motivation to serve and succeed.
