Career Opportunities for Women

Career Opportunities for Women
“Having an inclusive workforce is part of what makes Accenture a special place, and the commitment to inclusion, diversity and advancing the careers of women at Accenture is one of our top priorities."—William D. Green, Chairman.

We strongly believe that attracting, retaining and promoting women is critical to the success of our company. It’s why we have more than 80,000 women contributing to an environment that’s rich in diversity, acknowledges each individual's uniqueness and promotes respect, personal achievement and stewardship.

Accenture has created unique programs and initiatives to support our women in their career development and progression.

Empowering Women

Accenture believes that women can have it all and has developed opportunities to help women drive their careers forward. Through Women's Mentoring, a program that pairs female executives with senior executive mentors, employees can take advantage of virtual workshops and networking tips to help guide their career advancement at Accenture.

Accenture connects women globally through the Accenture Women’s Network, a global internal website connecting women across the company with one another and providing access to resources available both at Accenture and externally. The online forum offers women a place to share experiences, advice and insights.

In our local offices, women’s employee resource groups drive initiatives and programs to support women locally and help them build strong networks, both within Accenture and with the broader community.

Each year Accenture celebrates International Women’s Day where Accenture people come together to learn about the positive impact women are having on Accenture and the world. Participants enjoy exchanging ideas about women, inclusion and their impact on the global economy. This global celebration provides a venue for networking, building vital skills, and addressing issues that face women in the workplace and beyond.

Working Mothers

For the ninth year, Working Mother magazine has included Accenture in the “100 Best Companies for Working Mothers.”

Adding a family requires a different approach to how a professional manages everyday life and Accenture recognizes this by providing parents with the Maternity Returners Program. This program helps ease the transition back into the workforce by providing career guidance and support for finding ideal re-entry roles.

In addition, Accenture recognizes the unique needs of professionals in the workplace by providing Flexible Work Arrangements and a range of work/life programs that encourage a balance between work and personal priorities. Programs like the Back-Up Dependent Care, Limited Concierge Service and Employee Assistance Program, help our working mothers build rewarding careers, while never sacrificing their most personal priorities.

Learn more about work/life balance programs at Accenture, or hear firsthand from some of our female employees on how they maintain this balance and continue to achieve success
